I’m Giulio Bernasconi and I’m an 18-year-old Italian student, curious and interested in topics ranging from politics and environment to philosophy and technologies, in which I continuously develop my knowledge with activities and courses.
I chose to apply for the EUSALP council because I’m really convinced that for facing the challenges of our historical period effectively is fundamental to have a vision that transcends the boundaries of a single country and develop a sense of European belonging.
Thanks to my debating experience in the last few years, I’ve got the opportunity to understand the importance of understanding different points of views and the importance of critical thinking and argumentation, and accept the diversity of our points of view.
My dream for the future is to become an active global citizen – by which I mean a person who engages in the things happening around him, who can understand and have a real awareness of the world.
