This is the chance for young people to participate in the EUSALP Youth Council!

Share the news: this is the chance for young people to participate in the EUSALP Youth Council!

It is with great excitement that we inform you about the opening of the application phase for the 2nd mandate of the EUSALP Youth Council.

This Youth Council aims at building bridges to bring youth-led change in the Alpine region. Youth Council participants get involved in the development of alpine-wide policies and projects that address the most pressing challenges in the Alpine region. They can propose concrete actions, projects and topics, present ideas to politicians from the EUSALP states and regions and raise awareness for the specificities of their regions at the European level.

Young people between 18 and 29 who live in one of the 48 EUSALP regions in Germany, France, Italy, Austria, Slovenia, Switzerland or Liechtenstein can apply to join the EUSALP Youth Council until 13 May 2022. Four young people from each of the seven Alpine countries – and thus a total of 28 young people – will get the chance to participate in the implementation of the EUSALP for one year. Since a maximum of half of the Youth Councillors can renew their mandate for one year, this year 17 places for new members are available. The 2nd EUSALP Youth Council will meet physically for the first time on July 8-11, 2022 in Grenoble, France.

We hope for a large number of candidates to represent the diversity of the Alpine Region.

We need you!

We are counting on you to inform young people across the Alps about this great opportunity to shape the future of the Alpine Region. Please forward this information about the EUSALP Youth Council and motivate young people within your organization to participate!
