Last edition’s winner “MyCabin” is unstoppable!

MyCabin is awarded by the German government as a cultural and creative pilot 2020

For the eleventh time the Federal Government honors today the 32 most innovative ideas and entrepreneurial personalities as culture and creative pilots Germany 2020. Among the “most creative heads of the year” is also MyCabin, the digital mediation platform for nature-near overnight accommodation in the German-speaking alpine area.

01.12.2020 | Berlin – Once again in 2020, the Federal Government’s Cultural and Creative Industries Initiative has honored imaginative minds who successfully combine art, culture and creativity with entrepreneurial thinking. In addition to 31 other title winners, the founders of MyCabin were convincing not only in the pre-selection, but also at the subsequent digital selection day. In total, the team, which provides travelers with real experiences in and with nature via the digital platform, prevailed over 1,170 competitors.

“Especially in challenging times like these, we need the innovative achievements of creative entrepreneurship. The 32 entrepreneurs we are awarding the prize in 2020 as cultural and creative pilots of Germany impress with effective core competencies. They develop (…) products and realize projects whose interface function between the cultural and creative industries, technology and many other sectors is trend-setting. They are among the most important cross-sectional industries in Germany”.

The founders of MyCabin are now looking forward to the official award from the German government and a one-year mentoring program tailored to their individual needs, which will support them in their entrepreneurial development. In addition, the team has access to an extensive network of experts in the cultural and creative industries.  Although the digital awards event is not expected to take place until February 2021, the mentoring program has already started.
