We are delighted to inform you that the Alpine Convention is organising a new edition of the Young Academics Award – the award that promotes young and innovative research on Alpine topics!
We warmly invite all students to participate in the Young Academics Award 2024. As well as acknowledging the important contributions of young researchers, there are also great prizes to be won!
This edition of the Young Academics Award of the Alpine Convention will focus on “Responding to environmental changes and maintaining high quality of life in the Alps”. Submissions on the following related sub-themes are welcome:
- Climate action and biodiversity protection through nature-based solutions;
- Governance for resilient communities in light of environmental change;
- Socio-economic aspects of environmental change adaptation and mitigation.
Successful applicants can win one of the nine available prizes worth up to €1.000 which are provided by the Slovenian Presidency of the Alpine Convention as well as six of the Alpine Convention Infopoints!
